Acceptance of Terms & Conditions 

By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all booking-related terms provided by Buddha Travel & Tours (NZ) Pty Ltd. 

You acknowledge that all passenger details including name spellings (as per passport), travel dates, flight details, and timings have been thoroughly checked. You are also responsible for ensuring the validity of travel insurance, visas, and all required travel documents. 

Validity of Passport & Travel Documents 

Your passport must have a minimum validity of six (6) months from the date of your return journey. 

Visa Requirements & Documentation 

Buddha Travel & Tours does not provide visa advice or services. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure that all required visas and travel documentation are valid and obtained prior to travel. 

Please ensure that all visa requirements are fulfilled before departure. 

Baggage Allowance 

Baggage allowances vary depending on the airline and ticket class. Please confirm details with your travel consultant or directly with the airline. 

Buddha Travel & Tours is not responsible for any baggage loss, damage, or in-flight service issues. These matters must be addressed directly with the airline. 

Travel Insurance 

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all international travel. As a travel agent, our responsibility is to inform you of its importance; however, purchasing insurance remains the passenger’s responsibility. 

Airport Check-in 

Passengers are advised to check in at least 3 hours prior to scheduled departure. For North America, a check-in time of 3 to 4 hours is recommended. Some airlines or airports may require an earlier check-in.

Re-confirmation of Flights 

    Passengers are advised to reconfirm flight schedules and any special service requests (meals, seating, assistance, etc.) at least 72 hours prior to departure. 

    Other Important Information 

    • Airline schedules may change due to operational or external factors. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify departure and arrival times directly with the airline before travel. 
    • Airfare and taxes quoted are valid only on the day of booking. 
    • Taxes are subject to change until ticket issuance. 
    • Buddha Travel & Tours is not liable for cancellations, delays, or bankruptcy of third-party providers such as airlines, hotels, or tour operators. 
    • All services are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers. 
    Passengers must inform our consultants of any special requirements including meals, seating preferences, or medical needs. 

    Failure to notify the airline at least 24 hours prior to departure in case of no-show may result in fare forfeiture or additional charges. 

    Payment Policy 
    Payments can be made via:
    • Bank transfer
    • Cash deposit
    • Credit/Debit cards

    Please share a screenshot or proof of payment after completing a bank transfer. 

    Card surcharge: 

    • Visa / MasterCard / Debit Card: 2.0% 
    • American Express: 3.0% 

    Date Change Fees 

    A reissue/admin fee applies to all booking changes in addition to airline or supplier charges. 

    Reissue Fee includes:

    • Service Fee: NZD $75 
    • Airline reissue fee 
    • Consolidator fee 
    • Fare and tax difference (if applicable) 

    Changes include date change, rebooking, rerouting, name correction, or any modification after ticket issuance and are subject to availability. 

    Cancellation Fees 

    A cancellation/admin fee applies to all bookings in addition to airline or supplier charges. 

    Cancellation Fee includes: 

    • Service Fee: NZD $75 per person per booking 
    • Airline cancellation fee (if applicable) 
    • Consolidator fee (if applicable) 

    Note: 

    • Domestic tickets and infant tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable under all circumstances. 

    Refund Policy 

    Refunds for eligible tickets may take approximately 5 to 8 weeks from the date of submission of the refund request. 

    Jurisdiction 

    Any disputes will be handled in accordance with New Zealand laws and resolved through discussion with our team. 

    Declaration 

    I confirm that:

    • All booking details including names, dates, and travel information are correct as per passport. 
    • I have reviewed all spellings, formats, timings, and travel details. 
    • I understand that Buddha Travel & Tours is not responsible for errors not reported prior to ticket issuance. 

    I agree to all Terms & Conditions stated above and authorize Buddha Travel & Tours to proceed with my booking.
